Turn off Disable or Stop HTTPS Insecure Content Warning in Google Chrome

Sometimes in Gmail, the https in the address bar is cut. And Google Chrome shows warning that “This page has insecure content”.

This happens because though your connection with Gmail server and mails are secured but the theme files, javascript and CSS might come from different Google servers which might not be secured. Same happens with facebook too.

To disable this warning in Chrome, follow these steps –

1) Right click on your Chrome shortcut icon and select properties.
2) Add/append “–allow-running-insecure-content” to the text in the target.
3) Apply changes and restart Chrome.
